Overview:
Forest River, Inc., a leading manufacturer in the recreational vehicle (RV), marine, cargo, and commercial industries, is seeking a Data Engineer to join its new Business Intelligence department. This role will be responsible for maintaining and improving the Marketing Data Warehouse built on SQL Server, and managing ETL processes using SSIS. The Data Engineer will play a critical role in organizing, processing, and delivering accurate data to support decision-making and communications with internal teams, clients, and third-party partners. This role requires full-time attendance at our office location.
Key Responsibilities:
· Create and maintain SSIS workflows to move and process data efficiently, supporting the overall marketing data warehouse.
· Keep the marketing data warehouse accurate, organized, and up to date by loading historical data, updating new data regularly, and resolving data quality or load issues.
· Handle the exchange of data files with clients and third-party partners, ensuring timely delivery and proper formatting.
· Organize and standardize sales and marketing data to support reporting and analysis needs.
· Work closely with internal teams to understand their data needs and deliver clean, validated datasets.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. - we are unable to sponsor employment visas
- Proficient in SQL Server and experienced in writing T-SQL for complex queries and transformations.
- Strong hands-on experience with SSIS and ETL development and scheduling.
- Understanding of relational database and data warehouse design.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple data workflows.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Python or R for data processing a plus.
- Exposure to Microsoft Fabric and Power BI is a plus.
