About the Role
Forest River is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Test Engineer to join our dynamic team in the RV industry. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the quality, reliability, and safety of our RV products through rigorous testing and validation processes. Key Objectives
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to validate RV systems and components.
- Identify, document, and track defects to ensure product quality and compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including design, development, and manufacturing to support product improvements.
- Utilize data-driven approaches to analyze test results and recommend corrective actions.
Responsibilities
- Create detailed test cases based on product specifications and requirements.
- Perform functional, integration, and system-level testing on RV’s.
- Set up and maintain test environments and testing tools.
- Document test procedures, results, and provide clear reports to stakeholders.
- Work closely with engineering teams to troubleshoot issues and verify fixes.
- Ensure compliance with RV industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and coverage.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- Proven experience in test engineering, preferably within the RV industry.
- Strong understanding of RV systems or related fields, embedded software, and hardware testing.
- Familiarity with testing tools, automation frameworks a plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with diagnostic tools, oscilloscopes, and other testing equipment.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and software documentation.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to quality and safety.
