Forest River is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Test Engineer to join our dynamic team in the RV industry. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the quality, reliability, and safety of our RV products through rigorous testing and validation processes. Key Objectives

  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to validate RV systems and components.
  • Identify, document, and track defects to ensure product quality and compliance with industry standards.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including design, development, and manufacturing to support product improvements.
  • Utilize data-driven approaches to analyze test results and recommend corrective actions.

Responsibilities

  • Create detailed test cases based on product specifications and requirements.
  • Perform functional, integration, and system-level testing on RV’s.
  • Set up and maintain test environments and testing tools.
  • Document test procedures, results, and provide clear reports to stakeholders.
  • Work closely with engineering teams to troubleshoot issues and verify fixes.
  • Ensure compliance with RV industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and coverage.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
  • Proven experience in test engineering, preferably within the RV industry.
  • Strong understanding of RV systems or related fields, embedded software, and hardware testing.
  • Familiarity with testing tools, automation frameworks a plus.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience with diagnostic tools, oscilloscopes, and other testing equipment.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and software documentation.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to quality and safety.
