Forest River, Inc., the Nation’s largest manufacturer of Recreational Vehicles, Cargo Trailers, Transit Buses and Boats has an immediate opening.

Responsibilities:

• Create and update part and assembly CAD data using Autodesk Inventor, Autodesk Vault, and 2D AutoCAD
• Develop and revise part and assembly drawings to identify critical characteristics.
• Collaborate with manufacturing engineering to ensure parts are manufacturable.
• Process engineer change order utilizing Autodesk Vault.
• Verify that all designs and drawings are free of errors.
• Implement changes according to customer needs.
• Review customer prints and identify necessary changes.
• Determine if new parts are required to meet division expectations.
• Collaborate with vendors to manage part SKUs.
• Document and process all changes using Forest River Engineering change management processes.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma and/or an associate degree in engineering or a related discipline, plus two years of experience; or Four years of related experience and/or training specialized in drafting, design, and engineering practices; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Ability to read and interpret documents.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form.
