Staff Accountant (On Site)
Responsibilities
- General ledger account reconciliations
- Recording general ledger journal entries
- Initiating and accounting for certain daily vendor payments
- Tracking and summarizing certain vendor payments
- Assist in various daily and monthly accounting functions
- Assist in monthly accounting reporting activities
- Provide assistance to various accounting departments
Qualifications
- Position requires the ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Must be able to work independently and with others
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
- Proficient in both Microsoft Excel and Word
- High degree of integrity and ability to successfully deal with sensitive and confidential information
- BS/BA degree or commensurate level of directly related experience
