Description
Forest River, Inc., the Nation’s largest manufacturer of Recreational Vehicles, Cargo Trailers, Transit Buses and Boats has an immediate opening.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
- Manage a department of 5 to 7 employees
- Work closely with Sales, Purchasing and Production on New Designs as well as Current Designs
- Make sure all units are designed to meet FMVSS/CMVSS Regulations and RVIA/Z240 codes
- Work with Ford/Ford QVM/GM/Mercedes Benz to make sure all designs meet their requirements
Requirements:
- Knowledge of codes and standards, including RVIA, ANSI, F/CMVSS, QVM,Z240 UL
- Proficient in 3D modeling
- Software: Autodesk Inventor, Microsoft Office, Microsoft AX
Physical Demands:
• Exposure to industry accepted chemicals, and noise, dust
• Regularly required to stand, reach, bend and move about the facility
