Responsibilities

• Manage the treasury function of the business
• Financial and regulatory reporting preparation and review
• Manage internal and external audits
• Assist in oversight of accounts receivable, payables, and payroll
• Coordination of raw material physical inventories
• Research and implement new accounting standards
• Manage the complete accounting function for our transportation subsidiary
• Support the ongoing and future ERP system conversion
• Various daily, monthly, and quarterly accounting functions

Qualifications

• Position requires the ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Must be able to work independently and with others
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
• Highly proficient in both Microsoft Excel and Word
• High degree of integrity and ability to successfully deal with sensitive and confidential information
• BS/BA degree, CPA and 5+ years of public accounting or commensurate level of directly related experience preferred
